Renovating Les Quatre Chenes

When we arrived at Quatre Chenes the property had not been touched in over 5 years, and as a result needed considerable updating. Every single room had a total facelift, everything from over 200 litres of fresh paint, new bathrooms, kitchen re-fits and new appliances to a complete new pool area.

The pool was not exactly what could be described as ‘user friendly’, so we bit the bulletand added family friendly steps and a shallow sitting area where you can safelysit and supervise the smaller ones whilst they play. There’s also a new travertine marble terrace to enjoy the Dordogne sunshine on.

The garden is a constant labour of love, as it’s so warm here in the spring and summer everything grows at a rapid pace. So we work really hard to keep it all useable for guests.
